Open Question: What floor lamp should I pair this pendant light with?

I am not sure what nice of a floor lamp to put in the living room. We are in a condo with an open living/dining room, so it is important that the two lights look good together. Open Question: I need some serious help understanding this dream (sorry it's long-don't answer if your gonna be a jerk).?

I had this dream that I was still living in my old home with my mom and there was some serious bad vibes inside the home. My mom and I went next door to invite the new neighbors over for tea and they didn't answer. I noticed the baby Jesus manger scene in their front yard (nice of like the christmas decorations), only the scene was as tiny as a dollhouse and was made of marzipan. I then felt the urge to eat the marzipan baby Jesus, so I did without caring what the neighbors would think. Afterwords I walked back home and saw my mom sitting in the dining room. When I walked in I felt a strong sense of fear so I walked back out, sat in the front porch and saw the new neighbors walking toward my home. I greeted them and my mom welcomed them in the home. Right when the man and his wife walked in, the wife started yelling and screaming "Look at their hands! They need help!". The man apologized for his wife, but told us he had to leave-that something wasn't right. I didn't notice anything unusual about our hands while they were there, but right when they left I noticed I was pouring blood from my right wrist down and my mom was bleeding from her left wrist down. I felt the sense of bad return after the neighbors left and there was a sound like someone was kicking the walls around us. There was strong wind in the home but looking outside everything was normal. My mom and I held hands and said The Lords Prayer. As we were saying the prayer our voices would occasionally range to a deep and sinister tone. When we finished the prayer, I yelled the verse "deliver us from bad" once more. The wind, the kicking sound coming from the walls, our bleeding wrist, and the bad vibes every stopped in a split second-then I woke up with a racing pulse, drenched in sweat, and crying. I don't know what the absolute cause of the dream was. I used to practice seances and black magic from ages 12-15 (I'm 20 now), but none of my practices actually worked accept once or twice if it wasn't just a coincidence. I never used a Ouija board although I've recently read about some experiences and a couple of people even stated the names of the demons they communicated with. I would say I'm at least 75% skeptical, some odd and unpleasant occurrences have happened after I quit practicing black magic and seances. Just a few of those experiences since I've quit are: I've had snooze paralysis episodes at least once a year, I've seen a shadow figure in my old home (the one in the dream), I've moved but keep having nightmares about my old home, my mom started having seizures out of nowhere and hallucinates and hears bad laughter and voices before a seizure, my grandma claimed to have seen my mom channel a ghost of an old lady in my old home which caused her to have a seizure. I believe there could be a logical explanation for these series of odd experiences, but also think there might be more to it. I don't know if my dream is a sign of something, but everytime I have a nightmare my old home is usually in it. I'm Agnostic but I'm honestly trying to believe in a higher power as difficult as it is. I've been trying to be a better person altogether, but optimism is difficult to achieve when I've been a pessimist almost my whole life. I'm sorry I'm rambling, everyone. But I need answers. Why would I have a dream about stigmata and what's with home always being in my dreams?

Open Question: How does living alone affect your basic manners?

I sometimes take a drink out of a milk carton or juice bottle. I don't close the bathroom door and my feet are every over the furniture where they're not supposed to be. My table manners have flown out the door when I am at home. I will even lick my knife with no reservations. I actually had my dinner at my dining room table tonight !! Wow!! How about you when you are alone at home?

Open Question: Is there something that can cover my apartment chandelier -In its entirety?

The chandelier in my dining room does not go with my contemporary dining room table and etc. My landlord will not allow me to change the actual fixture. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a huge lampshade that will cover the entire chandelier? I haven't found anything online, via Google or Yahoo. Thank you for your help in advance! Note: My chandelier= standard 1920’s gold/brass, with 6-8 upward candlestick (looking) lights. Sorry, bad description. wish someone is able to help with this description… :o(

Open Question: Is this estimate I got for Wallpaper Removal fair?

I got an estimate of $2000 to remove wallpaper from my kitchen, dining room, two bathrooms and a walk-in closet, and the entrance way. Not sure of the sq feet, but they are every normal sized rooms (home total is 1850 sq ft). The cost includes removal and prepping the wall for painting (but not painting itself, which I will do). The work would take 2-3 days according to the contractor. So is $2000 reasonable? Please, I am not asking for tips for DIY. I already tried and gave up after 5 min.

Open Question: i changed a light fitting and now only some of the lights in my house work?

i took a light fitting from my lounge and put it up in my kitchen to replace a broken light fitting. it works fine - as do the lights in my dining room and conservatory but every the other lights in the home no longer work. initially i took out the downstairs light fuse and the 2 lights in my lounge and the kitchen, dining room and conservatory as well as porch and landing lights are on that fuse so theoretically every or none should now work. what i didn't do was connect another light fitting to the one i took down in my lounge and now there are just bare wires hanging down (they are not touching so they haven't created a short in the circuit). would putting something back sort it? also there were 2 neutral wires that were connected together in the fitting but when i took them out of the fitting they came apart. could that affect it as well? any suggestions please!! thanks you 3 for the answers so far. i'm in the uk and that is why the lighting circuits are slightly different. i will rejoin the 2 neutrals (black in the uk) and then cap them off. i had to do it quickly early evening yesterday as the kitchen light had blown (not good for cooking when in the dark!!) and was running out of natural light. obviously i will take out the main fuse from the circuit board first.... i will later on buy a new fitting or rose and connect that on. thanks for your help. thanks everyone. connected the 2 neutrals and every ok now. also for safety fed them into a 30amp terminal block until we buy a new fitting. no idea who to give the best answer to - i'll let voting deal with it. 2b and yourthebuilder gave the best concise answers and the guy with the "flame" story the most entertaining!! cheers every of you and thanks.

Open Question: Need help with empty room? Pic included?

Pics didn't post last time...trying again. We took the wall out between these 2 rooms. (1st pic) The Front door opens into the 1st room. The seat in the pic has been moved..this room is now empty. (2nd pic) We have made this into Living Room. What do you think we should put in the empty area?...1st pic. Maybe use as a dining room? Should I re-arrange the living room? Open Question: Whats this Weird feeling?

Every once in a while, I receive this weird feeling. I'm not really sure how to explain it. Its nice of like there someone or something in the room, not really watching me,Its just like somethings their I never look anyone else thought. It only last for a few minutes then the feeling fades. This has been happening for about three years. The weird thing is I only receive this feeling in the TV room, Dining room, my bedroom, And sometimes when I'm away from home. Open Question: What should i do? Should i just be friends like she asked? Should i keep trying until she changes her mind?

i met this girl last two weeks Friday at a party, (by the way, she is asian and i am black, chilly black dude like Taye diggs chilly...lol) anyway, she asks me for my number and so i give it to her. I texted her last week Wednesday to arrive hang out with me so she decides to arrive over to my dorm, we eat at the dining hall then she asks me to show her my room, at this point there is definitely a lot of physical attraction between us. She gave me a massage and i gave her a massage too, we cuddled for about 2 hours, and we just talked about stuff and got to know each other better. So on saturday i ask her to hang out with me again, and she says will i prefer to hang out with her to go to my fraternity party because nothing (sex) was going to happen between us that night so i should reconsider, and i basically chose her. so she invites me up to her room and me, her and her roommate end up going out together that night, as she said nothing happened but i wasnt looking forward to just sex because i actually like this girl. There was not as much physical contact and chemistry as the first time we hung out so, at this point i was getting mixed signals from her. On Sunday morning i texted her "we need to talk about stuff, pls? and so she calls me, and ii just told her what i had in mind, "i want to be more than friends with you", but to my dismay she says she really cant because her parents wont be glad with her and could possible disown her if she dated a black guy (i am black), but she went on to tell me how i would have been the best boyfriend she ever had and how it hurts her to say no to me, she broke up with her boyfriend of about a year about 2 months ago who was also black, but her parents never did know about that relationship, and so eventually she had to break it up she said she didnt want the same thing to happen between me and her.... at the end she said we should just be friends, i dont know if i can do that because i really like this girl, i feel so depressed and i just feel so unhappy that we cant be together in that sense because her parents will be mad at her. What should i do now? should i keep trying until she changes her mind? or should i just back off? or should i just be friends like she asked?

Open Question: My dog ate 30 chocolate cup cakes?

I went into the back room to receive out an old file and i heard a big bang i didn't think anything of it untill i heard both of my dogs barkin so i went into the dining room where a box of 30 chocolate cup cakes were strewn accross the floor there were only 2 cupcakes left by the time i got in there and my dog had eaten the relax (28). i called the emergency vet and they said to give her 6 tbls. of peroxide and then wait till they threw-up they still haven't threwn up and i couldn't receive much peroxide down their throats i don't know what to do the nearest open vet is 124 miles so should i pack them up now or wait till they threw-up it has been 24 minutes since they ate the chocolate cup-cakes the one that ate the most cup ckaes was the bigger one which is a lab that weighs 86 lbs. and the other one im not sure if she really ate any is only 46 lbs. i gave them more becuz i called the vet bak and they said to give them 3 more tbls. they said not to arrive yet but im elly worried!! She finally thew up when i was fixen to call the vet thanx for every yall's help i was really worried!!!! the vet said she would probably toss-up for the next hour or 2 sounds like so mch fun!!! (not) at least i kno she is gonna be ok!!!

For English we had to write a fractured fairy tale. what are your thoughts on it? Elise and the True Forever After Once upon a time, there was me. I'm Elise. First class geek, determined soul, and party animal. I have my very possess puppy, vintage tea cup, and a journal that is mine and only mine. Oh, and did I tell you that I am the Cinderella's best pal? The journal you are reading right now is every about how the whole thing happened, but with the truth. Here goes. I went over to Cinderella's home after I finished errands for my mom. As usual, the dastardly duo are causing havoc. That time I saw them dressing up Lucifer, their cat. "Hold still, Lucie Woocie Kitty Cat! Hold still for Mama!" Drizella said to the cat, who is barely even conscious. I rolled my eyes and yell though the home, "Cindy, It's Lisa! Where are you?" I ran up the marble stairs and almost sliped from the wax, "Woah! Slippery. Did you just barely wax the stairs for the 8th time this week?" I then heard a flush and the door opened. "Am I interrupting anything?" "No, in fact. You just saved me from cleaning the bathroom for the 8th time today. What's up?" "Oh, nothing... I'm just hanging out with you... and being bored... Wanna go some where?" "Can't. The ball is tonight and I have to finish cleaning the entire home. Clean the barn, dust the bow collection- I could go on forever. The wenches are making me do in order for me to go to the ball." Then she started walking toward her attic room, pail in hand. "Okay. look ya later." Just then I heard a accident and I sprinted down the stairs. Then another accident happened- it was me against the perfectly waxed marble staircase. Immobilized, I just sat there and enjoyed the ride that was to arrive. "Mom! This dress is SO old! I simply CAN'T wear this to the ball!" Yelled Anastassia's bratty voice. Then I saw a big turquoise poof fly acrossed the dining room. "And this silver scarf! It is just simply dreadful!" Cried Drizella's whining voice. A silver river of heaven fell on top of the dress. I could receive up by then, so I took advantage of the opportunity. I picked up the dress and scarf and walked right out. At 6 'o clock that night, I went over Cinderella's home in the dress and scarf, feeling confident. "Here I am! Cindy, Where are you?" "Back here, behind the staircase!" I rushed over in my silver flats, and sat down on the staircase, dress poofing up beyond explanation. "Are you going tonight? rush and receive ready!" "I can't go," then she got back down on her knees and started brushing the grout in the tile. " Mommy dearest said no." Just then, Anastassia came down the stars, and saw what I was wearing. "Elise! Your wearing my dress!!" and that's when she went commando on me. She charged me like a bull and ripped up the dress to shreds. The puff was condensed to nothing more than a flat, drab, pancake. My hair (which took me two hours to gently curl and primp) was reduced to a messy flop of a hair-do! The curls fell down into my face. When I looked at myself in their 6 foot mirror, I cried and ran away into the night, not stopping until I saw a bench. A bench every alone, in the middle of nowhere. Just like me. Then the most peculiar thing happened while I was bawling my eyes out into my pancake of a dress. A twinkle of something appeared in the air and I sneezed. "Sorry, darling! Sometimes my magic fairy dust makes those lucky few who I visit sneeze!" A lady was floating in mid-air, in a green shawl with a hood. Underneath that was a Silver silk dress. A white stick had the hair the match, and I was dumbfounded. "Wh- Wh- Who- Who are you?" I asked in awe. "Sorry, deary! I am the dear Fairy Sara Jane! I make lives better, and give people their start to a true fairy tale! First, I really must receive you in a suitable dress! What's your favorite color?" said Sara Jane. "Uh... Light blue." I said, still in shock. Sara Jane flicked her white stick, sang a tune about a made up word, and before you knew it, I was wearing a new, prettier dress! My hair was intact again, and I had a whole fleet of people to wait on me while I was in my blossom carriage. "Good luck, Elise!" Sara Jane the fairy yelled while I rode my way to happiness. The relax of the story the Disney writers got mostly right (except that everything happened the ME). I waltzed right into the ball, the duo was astonished, me and Prince Robert (not Eric) fell in adore- but my perfect night had no time limit. We danced until Morning, and my shoes were on my feet the whole time. Soon after that night, it was no longer Elise. No first class geek, determined soul, and party animal. It was Princess Elise. The one and only. We then happily ever after, and that's the end of my journal of the truth. The End

Open Question: Help! Our cat won't stop peeing on everything in the house!?

I woke up this morning to cat poop on the chaise lounge & cat pee on the sofa... here is the back-story We have 2 cats who are 1 1/2 years old & brothers. We rescued from my husband's aunts barn last winter when they were kittens (so the "barn cat" issue may or may not be part of the problem). I am pretty sure this has been a consistence problem since we got them at 10 weeks old... We had a big finished basement which is where the cats lived, and had to steam the carpets a few times to receive out the cat pee odor, then in June we moved to our current home, and the problems have gotten worse... The home was only 1 year old- but the prior owners had 2 little dogs, so I THOUGHT that was the reason why the cats were peeing every over the carpet. I figured we couldn't odor the dog pee, but they could... SO we replaced every of the carpet AND sub-floors so that there were no traces of any dog or kitty pee. The only carpet in our home is in the bedrooms, so we've just been shutting every of the doors at every times, and only allowing the Kitties into the kitchen, dining, living, & family rooms. I also scrubbed every of the slate & grout with bleach, & cleaned every of the wood floors & baseboards with vinegar, & had every of the curtains dry cleaned. We have tried every nice of litter box imaginable; the car-self cleaning $150 boxes, boxes with tops, no tops, different litters, etc. We even tried to buy the plug-ins from pet smart that "soothe" the cats which made it worse. The boxes are in the laundry room and FULLY accessible to the cats at every times. We clean the litter DAILY and replace it weekly. They always have food & water, and we give them TONS of attention, so I can't imagine that they're just lashing out. We also have 2 dogs, but the cats adore them, and play with them, and they receive along really well. Also, the dogs are 3 years old and do NOT pee in the home, so that's not the problem. Another thing that confuses me is that- it seems to only be one cat. We don't always catch them, but from what we've seen it's just one, and the other uses the box regularly. I am getting really frustrated. It was one thing to have to live with every the doors close, and very do-able and worth the inconvenience. However, if they are now starting to pee on the furniture in the rooms they DO live in... I don't know what to do! I adore them and don't want to give them away at every (besides, who would actually take a cat that pees in the home?) They are declawed so they definitely can't be outdoors cats. I've never had to give away an animal, and consider myself overly compassionate and attached to pets... but I also can't afford to buy new carpet & subfloors every year! I have a vet appointment later to make sure they haven't had a UTI this whole time! The vet said that was unlikely... what do I do if it's something else?!

this paint thing is about to steer me nuts. im having a fit trying to pick a color because this is a pricey investment! I have a very big living room with chocolate brown furniture which is open to a big kitchen and dining room with cherry cabinets! I wanted to pick a gray blue color for the walls but am having a difficult time finding the right one that isnt too baby blue looking. so will a medium to light gray work?

Open Question: I'm having a hard time dealing with my boyfriends 14 year old daughter?

My boyfriend and I are having a baby in three months. We have been living together since December but we just now are moving into a larger home from his old tiny apartment. His daughter is 14 and he has sole custody of her. She is being very unagreeable about everything. I have been nothing but nice and accomodating. She asked if we could pain her room pink and then impatiently bugged me and her dad constantly about painting it, never offering once to help just asking when I would paint it. So I did her room first before anything in the home after working 10 hours a day already and she never said thank you. Then she has been complaining that she wants the room that will be shared by the baby and my boyfreinds toddler son (after I painted both rooms) now I moved her furniture into her room and she got back from her freinds home and while I was sleeping she moved the desk from her room into the living room because she evidently doesn't want it and took a shelving unit from the kitchen and put it in her room. Then proceeds to wake me up to ask if a mint on the table is mine because I guess she wanted it. I'm frustrated because I have dine so much work to receive the home ready for everyone to settle in and she is acting like it's every about what she wants. And she is very inconsiderate of the fact that I work full time, spend every my extra time getting us moved and making the home look nice on top of being 6 months pregnant and she's acting like she can just demand things be done her way without ever trying to help.

Open Question: Does my son have a learning disability if he is 5 years old and can only recognize 5 letters and 3 numbers?

We work with him constantly. We have big letters and numbers posted on our dining room wall so we can just randomly and constantly ask him what is this letter/number. I can show him that this is a N and this is a T then turn right around and ask him what those two letters are and he can not receive it right. I thought he might just be trying to receive attention, so I told him if he got it right then he could have a piece of candy, but still gets it wrong. And candy is the ultimate prize for him. He does know his ABC's and how to count to 13, but why can't he remember and recognize the writing?

Resolved Question: dog breed question that's it?

People keep telling me things i already know so i figured i should restate the question so its easier. I will go to the shelter first to look for a dog. but im asking about breed specifics because my apartment complex is very specific. I have a big two bedroom apt with a master bedroom and an empty bedroom a big living room dining room and kitchen and a decent sized balcony, there will be space for it to run around the home, there is also a big park in my apartment complex for pets to roam and it will be taken daily for walks/runs. I have had a many dogs before and know the costs and work of one. now my question is Is there a general breed i can look for in the shelter that is around 20lbs is generally sturdy and energetic and doesn't shed a big amount, though sick deal with getting it trimmed if its a good dog so that's not too important please just answer that, i dont need to know anything else im just looking to go into the shelter with an idea of what i want It doesn't necessarily have to be a shelter dog either. I'm just saying i don't need to hear about shelters am asking about dog breed. I might find the one im looking for at a shelter I might find one in the newspaper or a pet store, i dont know but thats my decision and im just a little sleepy about asking about something and every answer being "how dare you not just pick a random dog at the shelter! im not even going to answer your question because you might not pick up a shelter dog!" ive had shelter dogs, ive had purebreds, its just what dog i pick and thank you to people who actually answer my question

Open Question: My cat puts her anus on everything... is the house dirty?

I'm sure every cat does this... they go everywhere in your home, including on top of your dining room table, and they sit their anus right down! And the thing is, cats don't wipe after they use the bathroom. Does their anus (with excrement on it) touch whatever they sit down on... and does that pose a health issue? I've seen my cat lick her anus to clean it... but I do look many times when it appears that there's traces of excrement around her anus and sometimes on the fur there.

Open Question: How can I get my dog not to bark?

I have a 1 year old border collie who has a barking problem. He barks in the home and outside. Before you say something like "he needs more attention" or "he should not stay outside long" let me tell you the situation. In my family there is a preschooler, a toddler, and a newborn. They spend most of the day in our family room and there is a baby gate up separating the family room from the dining room. Whenever we are every in the family room he wants in and barks. I am 16 and pay him plenty of attention during the day, but he still will not let us just sit and relax. We cant just let him in with us because we do not want him close the newborn and we don't trust the toddler around him every the time. Also whenever he wants outside he barks, and not even just to go to the bathroom. When he is outside he barks to arrive in and scratches up the door. For these things we have tried scolding him, locking him up, and spraying him with a spray bottle. Nothing seems to work. Also, just recently he has started barking at people. Last month the electric guy came into our backyard when he was out ant it freaked him out. Now he barks like mad at every living thing he sees. The neighbors are getting very mad at him. The thing is we want him to bark at strangers who arrive onto his territory so he can be a guard dog, but we don't want him to bark at neighbors. What should we do?

Resolved Question: Going on Carnival Splendor in September....?

It's bee years since I've been on a cruise, the last time I was 14, now I'm 20. I'm traveling with my boyfriend- our 1 year anniversary is the day before we leave. This was every by chance since we were originally planning to go to Universal Studios Orlando in August but then some arguments on the fact that it was too expensive ($2,500+) led us to considering my parents vacation solution which has a lower price of about $1,000. The problem is is that my parents have already put their down payment on the cruise, and my aunt and uncle - also going with - have too. My questions are as follows: - Will we every be able to sit together in the dining room if we've signed up for the same times? - What is there to watch on the TVs in the stateroom? - We have interior rooms (4D- Upper deck), if any ones been in them, are they nice? Do you feel suffocated? I don't like windows anyway since they give me the feeling of someone watching me.... but my boyfriend likes the fresh air. Maybe the air conditioning will help? - What is the estimation on say Budweiser beers, Vodka mixes (for my boyfriend), and Virgin drinks (Pina Coladas...)? - The entirety of the Sail & Sign card confuses me, if we put every the money on his Checking Account/Debit card would we both be able to access that money on our possess? - About How much is a spa excursion on a port day? - About how much is a coke card? I'm worried that there won't be enough for us to do since everyone has been saying that the longer excursions (we're going on a 7 day trip) are more family oriented, that's dandy except for the fact that it's the two of us; 20 and 25, then my parents and aunt and uncle who are every in their lat 50s- early/mid 60s.... so really if anything we might eat together or my mom, aunt, and I might gamble together (I don't like gambling though) or the guys might receive together and have a drink (though my dad and uncle adore sports and my boyfriend doesn't). And with the age difference between my boyfriend and I, I don't want to hold him back from doing things that I might not be able to like drink... he's really a social drinker. I don't know; is there anything to do besides drinking and gambling and just hanging out and eating? Open Question: How do I convince my parents to let me have the meeting at our house?

My mom said (the student council meeting) it would be fine after we finish construction (which is wrapping up) and the next scheduled meeting is 3 weeks from yesterday. Now my parents say they want to receive new living room furniture before we have anyone over (which won't happen until July or later, after half the team has graduated). It's 10-12 (very responsible, respectful) people, and then an advisor or two, and our home can handle 2-3 times that many people at ease. The meeting will be talking in the living room on the sofa or around the dining table, and then we'll eat pizza and then everyone will go home. Sounds simple enough, right? And, it's going to be my turn to have the meeting anyway. Thats what I thought at first, but it's also a liability apparently to have a school function at the school on the weekend when there are no security officers gift.

Open Question: Im freaked out. I just found out my aunt has mice?

Im not going to snooze today. I've never seen a mouse except in captivity. Im a germaphobe so you receive how freaked I am. I've had my suspicions seeing something gray run across the room from the corner of my eye, but I just waited and stared at the floor and I saw one clearly. Seriously Im freaked and cant walk on the floor. Im sort of playing "the floor is lava" game because this is every new to me. I used to have people kill mosquitoes for me. Now theres a mouse??? :(((( Okay whats the best way to receive rid of mice??? Keep in mind, Im a city kid who cant even ride a subway without thinking of the dirt. I miss home. Open Question: What are some easy ways to make your house look homey and comfortable? I have guests staying over?

I moved into a townhome with my fiance' over 6 months ago and we still haven't really decorated the place. We have a sofa, a tiny table with chairs....a cheap looking coffee table.....2 computer desks in the computer room, a bed, and a dresser.......and nothing on the walls. We have every white walls and we don't want to paint them because were renting the place and we'd have to paint them white again when we move out. I have friends staying a few days from out of town and I want my place to feel and look welcoming. My place looks really boring, drab, and empty....what are some things I can do to make it look/feel better? every my furniture is black, besides the tiny dining table which is a light wood color. I am 20 btw, so don't suggest old people decorations XD

Open Question: Dreaming of my cats dieing and then ther ghosts trying to kill me?

Before you read this i have to warn you i have really freaky dreams. A few nights ago i had a nightmare it might be silly since im 22 but wen i woke up i was so seared i had to wake my boyfriend thinking now i don't know why i did lol. In my dream my two cats were dieing in the dream I said they had Cancer and their noises and ears came of like styrofoam so i got 2 other healthy cats to look after them and keep them company. In the end my 2 original cats died so i put them in a box to Bury them but i put the 2 living cats in the box with them and i buried them alive. Later i sat in the dining room (but it was in a home id never lived in) and was upset that id buried the other cats alive then a beam of light came from the glass doors and these ghosts came threw the glass and pulled me against the window and lifted me of the ground. When i got free i ran to my bed room and went below the covers and started to sob out to my boyfriend but could not talk then i woke up. Id just like to add id never hurt any cats in my life or any other animal. When i woke i was even crying i would never really ask about my dreams manly because i usually have the same type of one anyway but i remember every bit of it which is odd for me and it really freaked me out. If any one knows what the hell this means it would be greatly appreciated

"Ahhh!" I yelled i couldn't help it my dream was bad enough but it was so real.... I was walking down the hallway while holding a candle i stopped at the stairs a bloody lady walked down the stairs she was chanting 'time to die me and you" at this point i couldn't help but start to sob... i noticed she was bleeding eternily. she touched the wooden floor.I yelled while throwing the candle in the floor and i ran away. At that point she got furious and multiplied into 3, chasing me the next thing i know i trip on a nail and i wake up screaming with my mom and dad running in the room "its nothing it was just a dream"i explained "ok then,receive dressed don't want to be tardy for school" my mom bossed i sat on my bed and looked at my palms they were as sweaty as a pig! i stood up and rubbed my hands on the bed i looked at my door sized mirror and i shivered for some weird reason. I changed in my closet today, i dont know but when i touched the door knob of my bathroom i got the chills.I ran downstairs and sat at the dining table.My mom gave me toast i Ate as much as i could then i waited awhile for my eyes to adjust to the light then i felt a soft wind touch my shoulder "MOM close THE WINDOW!!"i yelled "the window is close" my mom said "uh ok then"i said while raising a eyebrow "brush your teeth..."my mom said. those 3 simple words ran threw my head back and forth 'you mean upstairs in the bathroom" i said "thats the one" my mom said I felt like i was 3 afraid of using the potty and the sink......... I ran upstairs walked around in my room for a couple of minutes and then ran back down stairs "done.... Open Question: How do you get Acrylic paint off of carpet, walls, a fridge, and micro-suede couch?

My 4 year old and a pal's twin girls of the same age decided to "paint on paper" while I was out of town for a week, and my husband was in the backyard for TWENTY minutes doing yard work. My 4 year old paints every the time and he's always been responsible with it... add in twin girls and they every convinced each other to be naughty *sigh*. The dining room floor had about 2 inches of acrylic paint (the nice you receive from walmart for canvas), the white refrigerator got a full coat, there are a few spots on my new sectional chocolate brown micro-suede sofa, there are black little kid foot prints every over the brown hallway carpet where they stampeded to the bathroom to "clean" themselves off, which meant also drawing on the walls and on the flat white painted cabinet while also splattering every over the 70's formica countertop. (We rent, can you tell?) My husband walked in, his jaw dropped and he asked.... so, what have you been doing? One of the little girls says "painting on paper". He asked her "where is the paper?" and she looked behind her and said "....i don't know?". He managed to receive the linoleum cleared of the 2" thick goo with water and normal cleaning products -- and he did find 4 pieces of paper underneath it every. Going from painting on paper to just squirting the paint everywhere only takes a couple minutes with pre-schoolers ;) Beware when they are "too silent". Please.Help.Me. Turning this over to my non-existent insurance company is not an option. Looking for cleaning help ;)

well my dad bought me a dog for christmas and yesterday he said he was gonna tke her 2 the pound and i am only 10 years old and i was crying every night because this was my first dog and he was gonna take her away because we werent watching her and she pooped in the dining room and he sleeps till lke 2 pm so i have a little bit of time plz answer i need help about 3 more hours till he wakes up and i dont think he has the right to take her away from me because that was my christmas gift and i do take care of her i was sleeping and i could have sworn i put her in her cage but sometimes she gets out and she is only a puppy so its gonna take a while for her to receive potty trained and i do walk it play with it and pet it i even snooze with her but sometimes i dont i put her in her cage and no she will not be better off in her new home bcuz i adore her here and she loves it here and i am not letting my dad tke thatb away from me and btw i took her on a wlk 4 2 hrs yesterday and my dad loves her 2 but he sed she has went pee n poo in the home long enough so he is sleepy of it n now he is gettin rid of her n he does tke her 2 da vet if she is sik n im tryin 2 keep her not tke her to a not kill pound

Voting Question: We just bought our first house. How should we decordate it?

It is a two story home. The main bathroom and three bed rooms are upstairs. So that would be two little girls rooms on our master bedroom. The main floor is the entrance, kitchen, dining room, and living room. The basementt is not finished yet. Does anyone have any unique decor ideas? It is a newer home (2007) so it does not need upgrades but just a little decor touch. We also have a deck and fenced yard. Any suggestions for the outside?

im writing my first story ever its sorda just like a recap of something that once happened to me...what do you think of it ...any feedback How I almost drowned The day had started as normal one until I almost drowned. It happened so quick, and so sudden I did not know what was happening. I had just been walking beside the pool when I felt a pair of hands and bang I was in the pool. The sudden icy of the pool was horrible. In addition, when I hit my head on the side of the pool it hurt. The icy and my head hurting stopped me from trying to receive out and so I just started sinking. As I was sinking, I think I may have blacked out, but I am not sure. I just remember trying to think who could have pushed me. I started to think of a couple people who could have pushed me. The first person who I thought of was Teddy, who I had always liked because he shared my nickname. However, I had not liked him today. At the beginning of the day, when we had first arrive to X’s camp, I had accidentally fallen on him and made him scrape his knee which got him very mad. After that, in the other games we had played in camp that day, Teddy had tried to hurt me during the day but had not succeeded. That is why I thought he could have done it. I then kept thinking of who else could have done it. I thought about the last two days I had had at the pool, and no one from the camp stood out. Then I thought of outside the camp and I remembered that group of teens. Two days ago, I had spotted those teens being mean to my best pal. I had then tried to cease them, but they just then tried to arrive after me. I started running over to the clubhouse to try to lose sight of them, and I then ran into the locker room. Luckily, there had been no one in there so I could just hide in a locker. I checked every the lockers and unfortunately, every of them were locked, so I just ran into the nearest door, which happened to be the door that leads into the dining room. Once I was in the dining room, I did not hear them so I just sat down and waited. Luckily they did not arrive. About an hour later, I spotted them, and they looked very mad since they did not receive me. Therefore, I thought it could also be they who could have pushed me. I then heard the voice of my pal yelling “Teddy, Teddy,” and I came back to my senses. When I got out of the pool with my pal’s help, I had a pounding headache. I asked my pal if he had seen how pushed me and he said he had just thought I tripped. But I was still sure someone had pushed me. I then went over to receive some ice in the snack store for my head to relieve the headache. I then sat down and thought what to do. I decided to first find Teddy and find out if he pushed then if and me he had not I would then try to find out of the group of teens had pushed me for revenge. I started to look every over the pool to find Teddy, I looked in the pool, in the snack hut, in the playground, and even in the locker room but I did not find him. When I was about to give up I luckily spotted him trying to receive a towel from the main desk. I felt stupid not the look there. I then ran to him to talk to him. When I got to him, I immediately asked him if he had been anywhere close the diving board in the last 10 minutes. He then innocently responded no and I then just walked away confused. I had thought it must have been him. I then started to look for the group of teenagers. I spotted them quickly playing volleyball, so I waited for them to cease before I asked if they had pushed me. Immediately they said I was so stupid for thinking they could have pushed me since they had been playing volleyball the whole time. I felt very confused. I had had no idea it would not have been one of them who pushed me. I then decided just to forget about it and jump in the pool again. At about 2 feet away from the pool I felt hands push me again, and at the last second I turned around and saw Teddy.

Open Question: Save my house from my cats?!?

Suzie was born inside our home and has never in her life used the litter box. We tried to train her, regardless of every our tactics and the tips we received from vets and advice websites, nothing ever worked. She's 4 years old, has went to the vet and got a clear bill of health, she's been spayed, but she constantly urinates and poops every over the living room. She likes to go outside, and we let her, but she will NOT do her business outside. She'll scratch at the door to arrive in and once she does, she soils the living room carpet and then wants to go back outside to play some more. We tried leaving her outside, but she'll hold it in until she's sick if we don't just let her in and clean up after she's done. The horrible thing of the matter is that most of our other cats are following in her pawprints and the home is becoming nearly uninhabitable. The difference is that the other cats aren't inhibited by which room they go in though. From bedrooms, to dirty laundry, kitchen counters, appliances, the dining room table. They'll urinate EVERYWHERE, but they WILL poop in the litter box, which is one up on Suzie. We adore our cats and the majority are already fixed and those that aren't are going to be very soon. We keep the litter boxes clean and it's odd how they'll poop in the litter box but urinate everywhere else. So I need two pieces of advice. 1- What can I do to cease them from soiling the carpets, counters, and pretty much everywhere. They're not normal, they LIKE the odor of oranges and lemons, even vinegar!, so those kinds of deterrents don't work O_O... 2- What can I do to receive rid of the odor. I know apple cider vinegar is great for clothes, sheets, and such, but the carpet is so rancid and we really can't afford nor do we have the man power to tug it up or change it. I'm DESPERATE on getting rid of the odor and odors. It's stifling! About us: We live in the country with numerous indoor cats. My dad is a stroke patient and we recently lost our beloved dog Jack. We're every attached to these cats and can't bare to toss them away. Yes money is tight at the moment, but we're getting by and you can't replace adore. There are dangerous animals that lurk in the woods around our home at night, so we don't allow any of them to stay outside unless it's during the day and we're home, in which case they always stay around the back patio anyway. I really don't know what to do anymore to receive them trained and cease making our home to unpleasant. Most people who used to visit has even stopped coming because of the odor that just won't go away. I completely appreciate any and every advice that can help make our home a home again and put our felines back to being behaved pets.
